How are orders processed?

Orders are being taken and processed as soon as possible.

Orders are processed as they are received, within the limits of the available stock. Although the availability of each product is checked and updated daily, there is a possibility to order a product out of stock. In this case you will be contacted by phone or e-mail, when the order is processed, to receive confirmation of cancellation or partial delivery of the respective order. Also, delays in processing and delivering orders may occur during special occasions (peak seasons, holidays, etc.). During bank holidays and weekends orders are not being processed.

Delivery time depends on Royal Mail or any other courier and is generally of 2-3 working days. Cartiromanesti.co.uk is not liable for any delays beyond the estimated delivery date, as well as delays for any services supplied by Royal Mail or its partners given to weather conditions, strikes or any other problems occurring during the delivery process (postal services, customs, etc.).

How do we deliver?

As soon as your order has been dispatched, you will receive and e-mail, confirming dispatch, which includes all information related to the order and estimated time of delivery.

Cartiromanesti.co.uk makes deliveries in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, United Kingdom, Holland, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Deliveries in United Kingdom are done by Royal Mail or any other courier company, and the parcels are delivered only with PROOF OF DELIVERY! Please keep this in consideration as the parcels will NOT be left in front of your door.

The parcel will be sent to the address mentioned within the order and will be delivered personally by the courier to the addressee.

The parcel will have a label with your contact details, in case the courier cannot find the mentioned address. Therefore, it is important to enter in the order form a telephone number where you can be contacted.

If you are not at home, when the delivery is attempted, you will find a card/flyer in your mail box. The respective card/flyer confirms that delivery has been attempted and it includes all information needed to reschedule delivery. The card/flyer also includes the address of the area depot where all undelivered parcels go to, in case you want to pick it up personally. In order to pick up the parcel from the Royal Mail’s area depot you must present an identity document and the respective card/flyer.

Deliveries in other countries will be done by Royal Mail. International deliveries will be done using the standard service.

We recommend using standard delivery service when placing large orders .

If you still place an order whose weight exceeds 2 kg , it will be sent using the  standard delivery service and we will refund the difference to the cost of services.

*Price is valid for packages whose weight does not exceed 5kg .
If you place a big order , that weighs more than 5kg , you will be contacted by us to inform you about the transportation cost , depending on package weight .

How can I return a product/an order?

You can return the products within 14 calendar days of receipt from the courier. Before returning the products, you must contact us through the contact details section and inform us regarding your decision to return the goods. Also you can return an order by following the steps from "My merchandise returns" option which you can find into your account. No matter which method of return you choose you will have to wait for our confirmation before you send back the items. You will be contacted shortly after and offered all necessary details in order to return the products.

The return request can be sent no later than the 14th calendar day since delivery of the product.

The products must be returned using a tracked service at the address recommended by us, and the delivery costs shall be borne by you.

Any postage or delivery costs incurred by returning the items will be borne by us only if you have received incorrectly invoiced/delivered products or with a major fault in fabrication.

As all products are checked before dispatch, it is at the sole discretion of cartiromanesti.co.uk to decide on a major fault in fabrication. Please receive our apologies first, should any of the products you ordered have such a fault. Secondly, please contact us within maximum 14 days of receiving your order.


What are the conditions for returns?

In any return situation (even when return fees will be borne by cartiromanesti.co.uk: damaged parcels, incorrectly invoiced/delivered products, faulty products, etc.) the products must be returned in the same condition, in their original packaging, with their labels intact and with all the accompanying documents (invoice, guarantee certificates, etc.) The returned goods must be in the same condition as when they were received: without damages or faults (with the exception of hidden vices and the damages already mentioned by the client in his correspondence with cartiromanesti.co.uk).

Products sold as set, must be returned as set.

The books must not have dog-eared pages, the spine deteriorated or stains on the cover or pages.

If the products we delivered to you have been accompanied by certain gifts, upon returning the products, you must also return the gifts.
